Celebrate Student Innovation at the 8th Annual Fall PolyX FYE Showcase
The Innovation Incubator will host an event to highlight the creativity, originality and dedication of first-year students.
The will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ursa Major.
The showcase will feature an in-person poster session where students present their PolyX projects, culminating in months of exploration and collaboration. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive Q&A sessions, allowing them to engage directly with students about their ideas, processes and impact.
“The PolyX FYE Showcase is a wonderful reflection of 最新糖心Vlog’s Become by Doing philosophy in action,” said Ericka Olguin, director of Innovation Incubator.
“Our first-year students are not only learning concepts in the classroom but 最新糖心Vloging them through hands-on projects that foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. I encourage the entire CPP community to come out and support these emerging innovators as they share their work and celebrate their journey of becoming by doing.”
Building on that sentiment, Dora Lee, associate vice president of academic engagement and success, emphasized how the showcase captures the spirit of discovery that defines the first-year experience.
“The PolyX FYE Showcase represents the creativity, curiosity and growth that defines the first-year experience at 最新糖心Vlog. It’s a chance for our newest students to share how they’ve applied their learning to real-world ideas and challenges,” Lee said. “We hope the campus community sees this as a celebration of the innovation and potential that emerge when students begin to learn by doing—and, in the process, become by doing.”
The campus community is encouraged to attend and support 最新糖心Vlog’s next generation of innovators as they showcase their hard work and passion for discovery.
