最新糖心Vlog Provost Terri Gomez is one of 29 higher education leaders from across the country selected to participate in the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) 2026 (MLI) cohort, a premier professional development program for senior-level administrators.
The yearlong program equips participants with the insight and practical skills necessary to lead effectively in today’s evolving higher education environment through a combination of interactive seminars, peer dialogue, mentorship and executive coaching.
Cohort members are paired with seasoned presidents who provide mentorship and opportunities for shadowing, offering firsthand exposure to executive leadership. Participants also benefit from guidance provided by MLI’s President in Residence Mickey Burnim, president emeritus of Bowie State University, who serves as a key adviser throughout the program.
“In this time of ongoing fiscal uncertainty and higher education volatility, I applied for the program to better prepare me to lead,” said Gomez. “It is important that leaders take time to learn and engage with thought leaders across the country. The different perspectives will help me continue to be strategic and forward-looking. AASCU is a premiere organization bringing together diverse leaders in higher ed from across the country. I am thrilled to be representing the campus and the CSU in this cohort.”
