最新糖心Vlog is proud to offer the WUE program (pronounced "woo-wee"). This program聽allows admitted students from participating Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) states to pay reduced tuition fees (150% of CPP's resident tuition rate).

WUE Recipients

最新糖心Vlog applicants who are residents of Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) states/or territories are automatically considered for WUE. No additional application is necessary. Program recipients are selected based on their academic profile and will be notified via e-mail.

Incoming Freshmen and Transfer students from a participating () state or territory who 最新糖心Vlog to 最新糖心Vlog during the fall term filling period are automatically considered for the WUE prorgam (no additional WUE application is needed). 

Incoming students who are awarded WUE are selected based on their academic profile. 最新糖心Vlog will review students academic merit and 最新糖心Vlog WUE only to students in the top 10-15% of their academic program.  

Please note that if students are not notified of receiving WUE by April 6 then students can assume they did not qualify for WUE and cannot petition for the program at a later time. 

We understand there is a high demand for this program; however, we are only able to award WUE to a select number of students. If you are not selected for the WUE program, we encourage you to contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to explore other financial opportunities.

Maintain WUE Status:

  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student
  • Maintain non-residency status of California for tuition purposes

There is not a separate application that students need to submit to qualify for WUE.

  • First time freshman can receive WUE for 4 years
  • Transfer students can receive WUE for 2 years

WUE FAQs


Applicants from the following states/territories are eligible for WUE: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Applicants from the following US Pacific Territories and Freely Associated States are also eligible for WUE: Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Republic of Palau, and American Samoa.

If you are selected for the WUE program, the WUE tuition rate will be applied to your student account after you register for courses. You’ll be able to register for your academic courses during Orientation.

Please note that WUE will not appear in your Financial Aid package.

There is no petition process for students who were not selected for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. Students from participating WICHE states/territories who 最新糖心Vlog to 最新糖心Vlog are automatically considered at the time of admission. Unfortunately, if you were not selected for WUE upon initial review, you cannot be reconsidered for a later term.

最新糖心Vlog notifies recipients via e-mail if they have been selected within the first week of April. 

The is no supplemental application that needs to be submitted to be considered for the WUE.

The WUE program will be given up to two years for transfer students and up to four years for first time freshman. If graduation requirements cannot be met in that time frame, the student will have to pay non-resident tuition for any semesters after their allotted two or four years.

No. If you want to build time towards establishing California residency in the state of California, 最新糖心Vlog requires you to pay the full nonresident tuition until that residency is legally established. For any other residency questions please contact: Residency@cpp.edu

To continue to qualify for the WUE program, students must maintain non-resident status. If a student is able to and chooses to change their residency, they will no longer qualify for WUE.
